With the BOINC Pentathlon coming up and Numberfields will be one of the projects I tested the Nvidia GPU application and created a app_config.xml to run two tasks concurrently. This still only runs my 1660 Ti GPU @ 83% but I do not want to overheat the GPU.

I thought the gpu_usage=0.33 make 3 wu's run at once ??
Running 3 wu's on a RTX 2080 and temp=47c :BigGrin

Had two then changed to three then on one machine changed to four .25 I have moved onto Universe@home and not running any GPU for a while
I have no idea if my run times are good or bad. 1 wu took about 21 mins. Now running 3 tasks and it looks like a wu will take about 33min. At least at 3 wu's it takes the peaks & troughs out of my GPU load.
I decided to just leave it at 1 wu.
I noticed after a while running 2 wu's that one wu seemed to get stuck. It had been going for over 2 hrs with another 3 hrs remaining. It did this on 2 separate occasions.
I'm not too worried. I only applied the app to 1 pc to try out.

Greetings All
@Chooka03, glad to see that you at least have a GPU running on Numberfields, thing to remember is that these are of a variable time nature, i have workunits from the last Javelin throw, that ranged in completion times from 5 min through to 30 mins.
Also they have announced the project for the Cross Country event and it is
Amicable Numbers

I may have to have a look at the website, as I have not done any work for over 12 months.
Cheers
