This project now requires consent to export stat's. Default is "No". You must check the box in your project profile.
Thanks Dataman. Much appreciated.
MLC now has "test" Windows wu's. You must enable test app's in your profile to get them. Mine seem to work OK.
Hi Dataman, I can't find the "enable test app's" option. Where should I look?

MLC@Home: MLC@Home and CORAL
Exciting news!
MLC@Home is now a project of the The Cognition, Robotics, and Learning (CORAL ) lab at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).
This brings many benefits, not the least of which is lab space to run equipment, new ideas for research to conduct, and a place to collaborate with other researchers who may not be members of the BOINC community. Most importantly, being backed by a university research lab provides some assurance to you, our volunteers, that this project has both academic merit and a purpose beyond a single researcher and their goals. Over the next few days I'll be updating our website to reflect the new affiliation.
As always, please see our main website, https://www.mlcathome.org for details on the current research, or join us by attaching your BOINC client to this URL: https://www.mlcathome.org/mlcathome/
MLC now has ARM support. I did some testing on my RPi's. They run fine on a RPi 4 with 8GB and with 4GB RAM. They sorta run on a RPi 3B+ but sometimes 1 thread waits for memory or the OS crashes. Below the 3B+ they almost immediately crash.

MLC now has RAC badges with credit badges soon to follow. Also an Early Adopter badge available for anyone who has credit by 10/08. Your chance to grab this one-time-only badge! B@A is in 4th spot.

Credit badges are now live! :cheer1:
Do not miss your chance to get an Early Adopter badge which is available for anyone who has a valid credit by 10/08. Snooze and you lose. :wink
I just read that they are working on a GPU application ...

Yes, they ordered/received one or more nVidia GPU's last week for testing and planned to have some wu's to test this week. I have been watching my "MLC Preferences" to see when the "use GPU" checkbox appears.
:bloodshot
The "Use GPU" option has been added to MLC Preferences. Currently the default is Yes. I posted that it should be No. Will see if he changes it.
Test GPU wu's should be released today (Sunday here) or tomorrow. Should be interesting.
:wavey2:
I will give it a try as well.
MLC application list show 'Microsoft Windows running on an AMD x86_64 or Intel EM64T CPU 9.70 (cuda) (beta test) 25 Oct 2020, 6:08:55 UTC'
Hopefully be able to get some soon.
I received a few CUDA GPU test workunits today.
So far I've finished two of them and both completed & validated successfully.
So far all the GPU wu's i have received have failed. Am trying them on GTX-750 on Linux.
'Machine Learning Dataset Generator (test) v9.72 (cuda_fermi) x86_64-pc-linux-gnu'
Have not been able to get any more even though i have left the GPU available just for this project.
I received 5 GPU workunits a few days ago.
4 completed successfully and 1 failed.
Mine were "Machine Learning Dataset Generator (test) v9.70 (cuda_fermi) windows_x86_64"
I haven't received any more since then.
Both of you did better than me. I had 15 GPU's seeking them and did not get any. No GPU wu are available now as he rethinks how he is going to handle them.
Have been receiving this message in the event logs. :holy-moly
'MLC@Home 6/11/2020 7:13:09 AM Message from server: Machine Learning Dataset Generator (test) needs 390625.00 MB RAM but only 7097.14 MB is available for use.'

I am running 9 GPU's there. Windows = 100% success. Linux = 100% failure. I stopped the Linux GPU's until some changes are made. The heat is nice as it is -4.7C here this frosty morning.

GPU's are now working on Linux. They are being moved from test to production.
Well here is another project gone. Below is a small part of the post have read in the BOINC Manager notices.
MLC@Home: MLC@Home shutting down for now, and thank you!
MLC@Home Is shutting down
After over two years, some bumpy moments, and the tremendous support from our volunteers,
I, as MLC admin, am making the decision to shut down MLC@Home as a BOINC project for the
time being.
