Title: WWII codes cracked
Post by: Dingo on May 11, 2010, 10:16:43 AM
From the Boinc Developers email.

This news story put a smile on my face.

The Enigma@home project has actually succeeded in cracking one the world war
II codes they were working on. I think its fascinating to see this type of
success and its proof that BOINC software and volunteer computing really do
produce results. My congratulations to the Enigma@home team!

A volunteer translated the cracked German code into English in this message

Its a really great PR story.
