Teemac, Thanks for keeping these stats up to date. It is really appreciated by myself and the Team. It is sad but the Team has dropped two world positions in the last month as Boincstats now shows us in 13 th position. I am hoping it is a glitch in Boincstats. I am continuing to crunch projects in the red on my CPU's.

Yeh -- I noticed that myself, but didn't want to say it & put anyone on a downer about it. I think it is the cost of power and the reduction in machines that is the cause.

I think we have been overtaken by teams with more ATI GPU horesepower crunching lotsa Milkyway. Plus a couple of AAs doing WCG doesn't help - it's not the highest paying project.

Saw that boss, good stuff I have split 50/50 on Simap and Quantum for the last week or so and will stay that way for about another week also. DistributedDataMining is way behind - don't know what that is, it just popped up a few days ago - will have a look and see what it is all about.

I still look at these stats for projects that need a boost.
Me too - that's why I'm pumping out Yoyo and RNA outside the AA times (there may be others in need but those are projects I'm already hooked in to). Great work Teemac and also a plus one from yours truly.

Me also, thanks Teemac, I usually pop a plus one on when I see other posts because I always forget in here.

Hmm, what a quaint little project. Runs for 35-40 minutes but only uses and credits about 5-6 minutes CPU time. This must make it the lowest scoring of all BOINC projects. Will give it some resources anyway, GPU crunching grants the freedom to be a noble soul or a credit hound on CPU projects. A VM is the go for this kind of project. Must update to the latest VirtualBox one day, the recent versions have a much better way of allocating memory. Had a gigantor rum and cola, a mellow afternoon it has been. Anyone remember Gigantor? The song? "Gigaaantoor; Gi, gaaa, aa, aan, toor"

Another project where the team is > 30th is WUProp. This is a non-compute intensive project that captures useful information about WUs processed such as average upload/download size, elapsed time, CPU time etc. Each WU used basically no resources (CPU or memory), runs for 12 hours, and earns 25 credits, thus earning 50 credits per PC (or VM) per day. It was these results that helped me figure out that almeregrid was killing my bandwidth. No-one is going to get "rich" on this, but it really is as close as possible too "free", and the team standings will definitely benefit! http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/index.php
