Don't forget to leave a cpu core free for the GPU running the lunatics app, its required.

Noticed you running cpu workunits as well, so

1 x GPU workunit leave 1 cpu core free
2 x GPU workunit leave 2 cpu core free

On this setup, that equate to running a max of 30 just to be safe.

Hi Tazzduke,

I actually have 2 or 3 threads free (so crunching 30 CPU wu's and 1 GPU task) on my Threadripper. That should be ok?
Even with Lunatics it's doing WU's in about 300 seconds. Way worse than a 1660Ti :D But we all know Radeon cards aren't great for SETI. It's all good.

Can anyone point me at the most recent optimized application
for Windows 10 64bit  and a GeForce 680 video card.

   i suspect i can a lot more out of my machine than i am.

Intel Core i5 8600K, Gigabyte Z370XP SLI-CF, 16gig DDR4,
Nvidia GeForce  GTX 680. If i can gain a lot with a not
too pricey video card upgrade that is doable.

That is the WIN 10 best application that is currently available.  I use the one at the very top "Lunatics Installer 0.45" which instales the CPU and GPU application and also creates the app_config.xml for you.
