Australia's Gadi supercomputer
« on: March 15, 2020, 11:53:26 AM »

I've just been reading about the Gadi supercomputer.

A brief overview is here ...
https://nci.org.au/our-systems/hpc-systems

It's Australia's most powerful supercomputer and is ranked 47 in the world.

A list of the worlds top 500 supercomputers is here ..
https://www.top500.org/list/2019/11/?page=1

It's at the Australian National University in Canberra and was installed last year.

Here is an article with photos showing the installation process ...

Bah...they should have gone AMD EPYC processors. I guess it was too far gone to change their mind.
