I keep hearing rumours of GPU applications coming to World Community Grid. Namely Open pandemics developing a GPU application. Has anyone else heard anything? I guess we will wait and see but would be nice to have another Medical project for GPU's and even better if they have ATI\AMD applications.

HI turbo0

Yes there has been communication on the WCG forums about this, but by the looks, its still a way off, but the scientists/WCG techs were keen to get this going.

Cheers

Just asked around and followed it up abit and looks like Scripps finished the OpenCL and CUDA code and sent it to WCG the techs were looking at it and have said much more. I might try to follow it on the forums for updates but its happening.
