They still moderate every post I make there in case I suggest they step away from the blue crayons again.

Fear the crayon!

How appropriate, since a junior high school student designed their web page

We continue to characterise lung cancer biomarkers identified in the MCM1 project. This update focuses on HSD17B11, a gene associated with lung cancer survival. HSD17B11 is a protein coding gene, relatively ubiquitously expressed across organs and tissues. It is a short-chain alcohol dehydrogenase that metabolises secondary alcohols and ketones.

Greetings,

For those that have the WCG statistics in their signature, it won't be updating anytime soon, whilst I was perusing the WCG forums, discovered in a thread, that user SNURK who did these signatures, has not been active since Feb this year.  No one has any idea on what has happened to him either.

Regards

Thanks tazzduke, I've been wondering why there has been no new badges.

What does WCG have left? I mean I don't think I've seen work units for these ones in years. They used to have so many projects, with such variety and heaps of WU's, now they only have African Rainfall Project and Mapping Cancer Markers (the only one I seem to be able to get WU's for)

I kept hoping they would have a new project but those dreams were dashed long ago
