As long as you have your name in the Primegrid Preferences under "Reporting primes to the Prime Pages" and authorise them to submit on your behalf, you should be OK.

Great Stuff, mucho karma to you.

I've found only found 2, 1 x Sofie Germain from 8808 wu's & 1x Proth Prime from 6809 wu's both small to average. I don't seem to have much luck.  Whats your secret Dingo??

:compbash:

Cheers ..JN..

Thanks it the luck of the draw.   I don't know how many units I have done but I started Primegrid 11 Aug 2005 and have found 13 primes and they are spread out over the years.

Just got an email from Primegrid and I have found a new Prime number.

QuoteDear Primefinder,

Congratulations! Our records indicate that a computer registered by you has found a unique prime number. This computer is running BOINC, is attached to the PrimeGrid project, and is assigned to the Sophie Germain Prime Search. What makes this prime unique is that it's large enough to enter the Top 5000 List in Chris Caldwell's The Largest Known Primes Database.

Since you have auto-reporting selected, the following prime was submitted on your behalf:

Added 116391 : 1081059875535*2^1290000-1 (388341 digits)

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us and we will surely resolve any problems.

Once again, congratulations on your find! Thank you for participating in PrimeGrid.
