Dataman -  I think the secret is to maximise being the first to return work units.  That usually mean running primegrid on a PC by itself and having no cache of work so you crunch quick and return quick.  That is what I have been doing since April and have found five primes.

Crunch on brothers and sisters it all helps the team and science.

I haven't found a prime for a long time and out of this list only four are in the top 5000.  I am going to crunch Primegrid till the AA and then decide after the AA if to continue.

I found another Prime that is in the top 5000 list at #240.   :BigGrin


I do not know why but I get more of a kick out of finding primes than any of the other badges or positions.  I guess to be the first to find a prime and your name will always be associated with it.  When I type my name into Google it is the second thing to come up.
