Greetings All

Well this popped up this afternoon in my inbox

Dear Primefinder,

Congratulations! Our records indicate that a computer registered by you has found a unique prime number. This computer is assigned to the Generalized Fermat Prime Search n=15 (GFN-15). Since candidates on this subproject are not large enough to report to the Top 5000 Primes List, your prime is visible immediately.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us and we will surely resolve any problems.

Once again, congratulations on your find! Thank you for participating in PrimeGrid.

Sincerely,
The PrimeGrid Staff

Congrats Dingo and tazzduke  :congrats +1s

Dingo

Congrats Tazzduke +1.

I have been trying the GFN 17,17-mege,18 and 19 but there are too many RTX GPU's and I can't compete with them and be the first to send a finished task.  I am running a few "Do you feel lucky" tasks to see if they are crunching there as well.  If so I will move back to GPUGrid with the GPU and put more CPU on Primegrid with Multi threaded machines.

Hi Dingo, My 2 fastest GPUS are doing GFN17-Low, the other 3 are doing GFN15.
My fastest 3 cpus are doing ESP, trying to get Gold.
The next 2 are doing PPSE and I left the slowest (Quad 9400) on SGS, as that is the only subproject its good at.
I hope to replace that Quad 9400 with another I7 down the road.
I mainly do the large GFNS, if I am trying to get to the next badge colour.
Good luck on the prime hunt.
Cheers

I have found over thirty Primes since 2007 but only three are still in the active top 5000.
