Rate of return?

(well, the topic seemed appropriate given events in Oz the last 24hrs *grin*)
So, which is the better OS to use to crunch SHA and what is a rough hourly return per each?
I also note that it is either Win32 or Linux 32 or 64, which I would presume is the better of the three (and maybe not biggrin)

I've used both 32 & 64 bit XPpro running boinc 6.4.5. with no noticable difference in runtime for the same cpu's (c2d 3.2ghz). About 20 credits per hour, per core
