Did any of you catch the specs of the PS4 in the "not so revealing" unveiling event? Ignoring the CPUs, the thing is packing 18 GPU compute units capable of ~1.84 teraflops. How many geeks will be buying these suckers just to crunch science? The PS3 was impressive in this regard, but imagine how much science you could crunch with the PS4 whilst you sleep. :)
Mmm sounds nice indeed Daniel
The Xbox 720 (or whatever it will be called) looks hot too. But then again so did PS vita & wii U.
I mean there pretty good but they ain't got my bucks yet & there sales have been slow to say the least & i've lost track of how many other "wow" new bits of tech gear that just didn't live up to the hype. Sooo i'm hopeful but until release day there still just hype.
don't know how accurate this is ...

I know on the PS3 they have taken away the ability to load other software and run BOINC ?? I used to run BOINC on Linux on the hard dive but an update blew it away. :shock

Hmmm, I wonder when they're going to show us the actual console!
