I've had my Galaxy S3 for almost 2 years now and feeling the itch for a new phone!
Is anyone else eyeing the market at the moment? I'm thinking the Samsung Galaxy S5 or Sony Xperia Z2...Not sure.
I bought a Nexus 5 when I got to Canada because it was unlocked from Google. I had to buy a new phone because the Australian ones don't work in Canada and visa versa.
I am not an expert but it seems to be fast, not running BOINC though.

All these phones are to big for me, I'm thinking of getting a Z1compact for my next one maybe.
They are a bit big but you can surf the web and do email etc and with my OLD eyes the bigger the better. O0
I recently purchased an S4. The S5 was a few months away at the time when I broke the S2. I would go for an S5.

I was wanting a S5 but waiting for the Exynos 5422 octa-core. Not much has been said on them I know they exist just haven't seen them sold. The s5 looks like solid phones even take them swimming.
Edit: Just found out the octa-core are only 3G so wont be release from most carriers in Australia. Still powerful phones. HTC one (m8) look good too just heavy in a metal case.
I couldn't help myself and got an galaxy s5. Have to say pretty impressed with is speed so far. Even had it Boinc'ing over night running 4 cores at 2.5gig with no real heat issues. Strange because even the s2 with 2 cores at 1.2gig had troubles overheating. New arm models seem to be so much more efficient on heat and power usage. I am yet to drop it in water to test the IP67 water resistant rating, something about using your phone underwater still seems strange to me.
Edit: A few quick calculations show it to be generating 970 credits over 24 hours on simap or 243 credits per core. Not going to have it running all the time but just wanted to see what it could do.
