Hi, I have no working BOINC at the moment as the update to 7.2.42 refuses to install and has wiped my previous version. Not sure how to fix it other than reverting back to much earlier version. When I try to install "boinc_7.2.42_windows_intelx86_vbox.exe" it repeatedly stops and tells me it can't find "BOINC.msi". Have tried with and without "vbox". Tried searching HD for BOINC.msi and redirecting the box to find BOINC.msi also with no luck. Computer has been rebooted, no viruses, up to date Norton 360, running Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 at 2.4GHz on ASUS P5QC motherboard 4GB RAM with genuine updated XP Pro 32 v2002 serv pk 3. Video is NVidia Ge-force 96ooGT.

Thanks JugNut the Windows installer cleanup utility on your link fixed it. Up and running now with latest BOINC.
