The article is on Howard White (who was a NASA employee as late as 2013) and his vision for a warp-drive ship that he's been working on for a few years.  Also of interest is the link in the article to "2012 story in io9".  I was particularly fond of the comment to the Chicago Pile, "the first nuclear reactor in Chicago generating a whopping half Watt".

A bloody interesting read.  I majored in math, but this was way beyond the course curriculum of the day.   :cheers:  Thanks Lionel.
