Yesterday the admin announced a new subproject that will run on GPUs ...

There is still some further processing in creating all the server stuff.

Wowzer, I ran just a few tasks to see how they go, talk about working the GPU, first time I have seen the gtx 970 screaming with fan and temps in 80s.

Gee, no other project really works the card as hard as this one lol.

[SRBase] upcoming S79 batch change
To get done the last CRUS goal for S79 in 2023 we will also change the deadline to 12h in the next batch. Keep in mind this is only an exception. Standard deadline will be 3d.

The RAM was tested in the first run and looking ok.

The app is not using multicore and making some results invalid due illegal checksums.

2022-2023 - 3 bases proven, 69 bases unstarted

in total - 35 bases proven, 28 bases unstarted

With the new pythonscript, available for windows, linux is planned later, we have decreased unstarted bases by a lot on manual testing.

There were many improvements like less RAM consumption and memory usage, and better distribution of workspaces among the workers.

Thx to all participated users who made this possible!

All 2025 goals are done earlier and some 2026 goals were already started.

Unfortunately, all TF applications need to be renewed, which is why all results from the GIMPs server will be rejected after the 31st except mfakto apps earlier.
