Title: NASA All Sky Fireball Network
Post by: Dingo on January 23, 2019, 01:11:15 PM
Like the world cup of baseball this is only in the USA but a good idea and interesting and alot more than I thought.

QuoteEvery night, a network of NASA all-sky cameras (https://fireballs.ndc.nasa.gov/) scans the skies above the United States for meteoritic fireballs. Automated software maintained by NASA's Meteoroid Environment Office calculates their orbits, velocity, penetration depth in Earth's atmosphere and many other characteristics. Daily results are presented here on Spaceweather.com.
