The Vera Rubin Telescope is finally online and is processing an astonishing amount of data as it constantly catalogs the night sky. This would be perfect for BOINC but they have very powerful data centers backing them.
Maybe projects like Einstein, Gaia or Spacious will be used to sift through the data to look for interesting things

It's a bizarre world we live in. We search space for mysteries and rogue asteroids but at the same time bomb the crap out of each other killing everywhere in the world.

Wow that is impressive the amount of data being processed, I was saddened to see our own SKYNET finished.
