Title: New Zealand Earthquake

I do hope everyone is OK. It appears to be a 7+ magnitude just west of Christchurch.

yeah, we do have a few members from across the water - hope everyone/ everything is OK over there .

It's been a long time since I've heard of a descent earthquake in NZ and this one looks pretty bad. Fortunately, if the TV news is right, no one was killed.

Just on a side notw - the plane crash over there in NZ - a very dear friend of ours' son was a Skydiving instructor on the plane and obviously died.

What worries me is the dragged out process for Pamela to "identify" her son (Adam, 47).... I was stationed at Revesby (next to Bankstown airport in Sydney) and when these planes crash and burn there is nothing left to identify the bodies themselves... maybe some "valuables if lucky - the AVGAS burns at such a fierce temp that most things melt..
and the people cook.
