Hi everyone,

The OpenCL version of this app has been launched as a beta app.

AMD/Intel users can contribute with their GPUs for this app now.

Please let us know if you encounter any issues. We'll be monitoring and pull it out of beta once it seems stable.

I'm getting a lot of errors on my AMD RX580 - I've updated to the latest driver and still getting the same error. The forums are showing mixed results with some Intel and AMD GPU's working while others like mine are failing straight away

My Nvidia 3080 Ti is running them OK.  I did a few then did some Prime GFN server work but back on Primegrid GFN18

1.03 of this app is now live, and I've confirmed it at least launches this time before putting out this news post.

Please give it a try on your machines. On my 3090 is seems to be a bit faster than the CUDA version in my limited testing. But YMMV.

We've got more good news, A brand new BOINC project has been launched!

This project is aiming to find massive collisions of diamond ore veins, when generating, each chunk will make multiple diamond placement attempts, when the positions of these attempts overlap with each other, they can combine, forming one larger vein. These collisions are incredibly rare, and getting good results requires searching through quadrillions of candidates.
