BOINC Radio Podcast

I did not know about this Podcast that has been going on for a while. A lot of silliness but also some very good information. New update every Friday afternoon (EST).

I encourage you to take a look at the index of past Podcasts.

On second thought ...

For the last two weeks I listened live to the weekly, Friday broadcast. To say I am not impressed is a vast understatement. I find it mostly a "stage" where jringo performs weekly and there are few other participants. So far there has been little information which is not easily obtained from the projects or BOINCStats.

The BOINC channel on DISCORD is not much better. It is populated by a handful of people, seemingly with nothing much else to do and little to say, which spend their day doing just that.  :jester:

Overall I give it a

I joined their discord and then after a few weeks left because it seemed mainly for developers.  It doesn't seem like they are into the team aspect of boinc, or maybe I missed discussion of it. I don't like that their website assumes everyone runs windows so if you hit 'download boinc' you get the .exe I guess that works for most people anyway.
