Well I'm happy now I have just got my last gold in WCG so I have a full rack now! :yahoo:

WikiWill

Congrats!   :congrats
I've just obtained my first bronze medal so I have a long way to go.

Thanks WikiWill it won't take long. I started crunching only in about October last year generally with either four slow machines and recently an i7 monster :-)

The one PC at work was fine untill they blocked that port so it couldn't send or get results.

My old Toshiba laptop isn't crunching now as it won't even boot. Went for four months still crunching without a usable screen, just lots of horrible vertical lines! I couldn'd use the external VGA either but I had LogMeIn installed and could get in that way to keep Boinc going!

Another PC is a remote weather station PC a five year old IBM cheapie, had to stop crunching on that when I got a new weather station that used more processor time and was becoming unstable when Boinc ws going as well.

So now it is just the 24" IMac, Asus Laptop (the replacement) and an i7 that is also my HTPC (home theatre) but the i7 is throttled back so as to use less power and be quieter.

Dave.

Thanks Kashi have done that now. How many weeks away is the next one happening?

kashi

They are every 3 months, so AA19 should start in just over 7 weeks I think.

When Mysteron was talking about these other badges I thought he was pulling my leg as I hadn't seen that these three new levels were added in the last month.

Ruby - 180 days
Emerald - 1 year
Sapphire - 2 years

This adds a whole new level to hard to get badges !!!
