Well, I sorta hadta. Couldn't pass that one up.

Repaid on time - but maybe that's why the piccy's rotated on the update tab and the site reference is mis-spelled (and reported as such...)

The one thing I get better at as I get old is the ability to forget.  biggrin Better late than never. Five loans this month.

I'm a  bit like dataman's last post, but for me if forgetting was an olympic sport i'd win gold every time. *LOL*
So just one loan for for me this month, nothing as grand as a horse like kashi's loan,  just some poop in a cart. (Loan for fertilizer & wheel borrow)

So sad to report this.

I reported this loan :Eric in Uganda to Kiva via contactus. The issue here is that the proposed activity is not only illegal in Uganda (regulations here) but it's also a health hazard to not only the borrower but his entire community.

Regrettably, Kiva invoked their "cultural neutrality" mantra and refused to reject the loan.

I have no alternative as I see it than to cease my support of Kiva. Of course, unfortunately it's the other borrowers that I could have supported that bear the cost.

Just climbed aboard the KIVA bandwagon this week. Can't let you guys have all the fun. Moneys been abit tight but its alot tighter for those in need of these loans so I'll do what I can. Great job so far team.

Unfortunately I only have $8 credit at the moment so no loans this month.   But the Team (BOINC AT AUSTRALIA)is going really well.

Geez, I forgot again.  The only thing I am getting better at in my old age is forgetting stuff. I'll go over to KIVA this afternoon and see how much I have to lend.
