In 1965 Harry van den Berg (Vanda) was the lead guitarist for the Easybeats.  He was married to the sister of Philip and Allan Higgins who were my mates. They lived three doors down the street in East Hills Sydney and used to see Harry all the time.  He composed the music for Friday on My Mind their before the band went to England.  In 1964 -65 we used to get free backstage tickets to all their gigs and really had a good time.  I was 15 or 16 at the time and just left school and was working for The Singer Sowing Machine company as an apprentice Auditor.  Malcolm and Angus Young of ACDC are the younger brothers of George Young the Rhythm Guitarist of The Easybeats. Vanda and Young produced the early albums of ACDC.
