You wont get something like this on Ubuntu.  No-one bothers packaging every release in a .deb unfortunately.  You can upgrade manually there a thread in all things Linux on how to.

yeah running this now - meh, same thing ... no difference!

the only difference I have found is that when you click "update" and look in the "messages" TAB, it doesn't ask for "X" amount of seconds work anymore... just "requesting more tasks".

... oh, plus there's the optional selection in "advanced" to automatically double the credits granted for work done . .
