Hi there peeps,

Yesterday I got a notice from WCG on the BOINC Manager that read

"World Community GridWCG_ENVIRONMENT_ADDED_WCG: Notice from BOINC
This project is using an old URL. When convenient, remove the project, then add http://WCG_MASTER_URL_WCG/
16/05/2017 2:54:06 PM"

Did everyone else get this (or messages similar in other projects over the last 6 months)? I've had a similar message on Citizen Science Grid and a couple of other projects (these were normally a change from http to https) and I have been able to change the URL. However, as you can see the URL for WCG looks a little strange and when I tried to change the URL I got the message to enter a valid URL. So basically, any ideas?

Currently, the project is attached from http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ on my computer (since this is what BOINC Manager suggests).

Don't worry about it, it was an error by WCG Tech:

I am sorry about this confusion. There was a mistake on my part that sent this confusing message. After correcting my mistake, all that is required is a schedule request and the updated information would come down. Thank you for doing the steps, however they were not needed. Again I am sorry about the confusing messages too the client.
