Furlozza

Hey, which videos are YOU guys watching???

Mike Mitchell

Same one as you, fuzzy.

Anything to do with underwater is outstanding. Octopus will sometimes come up and rap their tentacles around a scuba diver's head just to work out what they are. They can be very curious, even more than fur seals. But seals are the best fun. They are like big puppies with an extremely short attention span. If you're lucky, you can seals to imitate you if you do something different like spinning or rolling.

(or get them talking and giggling about you behind your back)

My Dad (born and bred in Holland - took many years to get what grasp he DOES have , on the English language..) came hiome all excited from deep sea fishing once when we had our 'van down at Seven Mile Beach on the NSW sth Coast.

Bruce had taken him out fishing, and Dad caught and octopus.. they kept it for bait when they went out deeper, but what had Dad all agog was ...

"When I stabbed it onto the chopping board... it reached up and grabbed me with it's testicles .... they were flapping around EVERYwhere !"   :crazy

ANY time I hear the word "octopus"  mentioned, I laugh.. it'll be one of those things I'll always remember about Dad, even long after he  is gone one day ... funny bugger !

WikiWill

Great story, veebee

... Seven Mile Beach

I'm sure they have them all over the country ... But I spent a lot of time at a Seven Mile Beach not far from Hobart.  Beaches are special places as kids eh!  Really should get meself a van on a beach somewhere down the coast to take the family.  Although I suppose those days are almost gone now?  I probably need to buy a million dollar beach apartment now lol  :cry2:

Twenty two years ago, Reg Ansett used to have a old motel in Tasmania that he kept fully staffed mostly for himself and few bus tours that passed through. Okay I suppose, if you can afford it. At least he put something into the economy, not like those bastards on Wall Street.
