News:

The Forum I have installed from the host is a mix of different versions and I have been fighjting for two days to get it to work.  I have decided to do a fresh install and not use any of the files from the host I do not need.  I am going to be doing this this evening.  None of the board posts rom today will be there when I update it.  Sorry for the confusion but I want the forum to work properly.

i have 2 computers running Milky Way.
My older laptop shows a remaining  time for
N-Body Simulation task as 53 days.

Can i fix it so that it will only run
Separation tasks ?

Hi Mike,

I think what you are looking for is in your account settings.

Go to Milkyway@Home then your account settings. Under "MilkyWay@home preferences" when you select "edit" you can no untick "Milkyway@home N-Body Simulation" and just leave "Milkyway@home Separation" checked. then save.

Is that what you were looking for?

Thanks mate:

            That is just what i was looking for. My desktop will do N-Body
just fine but laptop is just too old and slow.
