Recently switched over to Aussie Broadband from TPG. The reason for the change was that TPG does not offer the higher tier speeds/plans and 100/40 just wasn't enough considering the current situation around the world right now (Covid-19)

These are the average speedtest results for the plan - NBN 1000Mbps/50Mbps Unlimited ($149.00) -

 

The change over was very smooth and took a couple of hours from start to finish of the application for the service to be up and running. Admittedly we are on FTTP (Fiber to the premises), which makes the whole process seamless. Only had ~30mins down time.

So far we are very happy with the speeds that are being seen, considering there are up to 7 people living here and on average 20 devices connected at once.

I'm with Aussie Broadband as well. Very good to deal with. Did you have to pay for the FTTP or are you in a new area?

It is great to actually talk to an Australian.  Makes things a lot easier.

When i first connected to the NBN the cost of installation was included when i signed up for an 18 month contract. My area was one of the first in the country to get the NBN, before they started cost cutting and only supplying fiber to the node.

That many definitely makes the $149 quite reasonable. Way to. It would be great to have that type of bandwidth.

I joined Aussie Broadband 2 years ago. The best thing I ever did after struggling for good customer support from Optus.

I got a new rental and I am moving to Young NSW.  I just called Aussie Broadband and they will connect tomorrow and I am on Fibre to the home and should have 100/40 connection with an evening speed of 97 Mb and Unlimited data.

With FTTP, you should be able to get the 250Mbps package. But of course that costs more. :-)

I currently went with Kogan to save a few dollars. Now on 100/20 plan and unlimited data. All good so far!!!  ($78.50 per month for this plan.)
