i am a such space junkie - i even recorded the lift off today of Space Shuttle STS-125 and then watched it when i woke up and just about clicked every link that NASA could give me today about this latest mission.

But i also got thinking throughout today that the Hubble telescope first launched way back in 1990  :shock way long before any of us even could consider having an internet connection letalone being a BOINC'er

So... if you'd like to get a bit nostalgic about 1990 onwards, watch this and admire these things, images, people, Seti guys, BOINC pioneers, NASA freaks, space junkies, and so on and perhaps contemplate why it is that you all have a connection here to do BOINC stuff in some way and so and so forth and so on....

i did, and here's the video
