Why is it so ?

Hmmm , I thought the GTX 275 was performing "well"... can someone look at the completion times of my and a wingman's work on THIS work unit and explain why he did it on a third of the time... with an 8800 card ?

Is it coz he's done it under windows and it reports differently ?

Going to try t a later driver an dsee if that makes any difference, but it couldn't make that much difference.

GTX275: Approximate elapsed time for entire WU:     20528.923 s
8800GT: Approximate elapsed time for entire WU:     53439.236 s

So the GTX275 did it in far less time than the 8800GT

Ignore the CPU time as it does not reflect actual work done.  But if you have to...  Yes, the difference is Windows vs Linux reporting times.  The times I mentioned above are from the actual result pages...
