Ipod Nano

Just went out and bought my first ipod today, the Nano. What with needing something to read on a flight, decent music would not go astray either, but when I tried to get the earpieces in my lugholes, well, to say that it was a tight squeeze, or rather that they wouldn't sit properly would be an understatement.

The question then is: are other earpieces capable of being used with Ipod, or am I going to be the "hear-no-evil" monkey whenever I use it?

I don't fly anywhere without my noise-cancelling headphones!  My own private little cone of silence  biggrin

Thems the ones I wants!!!

BF, do you notice them affecting battery life much?  What sort did you get?  I want to get some too...

Well, had an interesting day at Itunes *grin* 600Mb in less than 6 hrs, not includng listening to various versions of certain classical bits *grin*

But those earpieces are a right proper pain. SO, went to Apple Store and found these:

Sennheiser HD 228 Headphones I hope they can get them here quick... or else..... (BF, these anything like yours?)

Ah well, there's always Retravision or Dick Smiths or.......

BTW, the nano is black, so current earphones, being in white, are not exactly a subtle mix *grin*

Furry, you cant (normally) go wrong with Sennheiser.

A mate with whom I collaborate in some musical ventures, lent me his set of THESE while he was away for 3 months....

After using them, I tried a few diff ones at "JB HiFi" , including, I'm sure< the ones you're getting.... they are all pretty good provided the outside noise doesn't get in....

best solution for that , apparently ....

Well, have been raiding ITunes.... and found all 9 repeat, and in alpha, NINE Beethoven Symphonies conducted by Roger Norrington. One of this collection was played during ABC FM's Classic 100 Symphonies, so killed two birds so to speak. (am listening to it now via puter *grin*) ANyways, all 9 symphonies cost me a grand total of $25.99 Australian (I think, can't be bothered going through email to find invoice) so no complaints there... and yes Veebs, they will be played loudish, depending on how much my ears can take *grin*

Oh and also downloaded a selection of Tom Lehrer songs as well. If you don't know, just google/yahoo him *grin* and then admit that you is YOUNG!!!
