Water Water Everywhere!!

Just a thought, i just wonder if there are any team members out there that have been affected by the recent flooding in the southern parts of Oz,

Its a rather sobering experience to watch your home go under and your whole life be returned to you covered in mud and horrible stinking sludge,

Having been there done that twice already, and as i write this, watching the water slowly rise and taunt us AGAIN over the last few days, i begin to

wish that it would "Hurry up and get it over with" looking at the muddy water, Rise, and fall, rise and fall again, just at the edge of breaking the banks

of the river near our home, I then begin to ponder, I wonder how the Hewlett Packard would go with instant water based mud-pack total immersion

cooling?

I can understand the sentiment and feelings of these people,

I just wonder if after all this is over if there are some fellow boincers that may have lost their crunch machines, if there is a way we could donate

some of our unused PC gear? Idea's maybe?

It may not be much but at least they would have some way of getting back online and communicate with others,

open for ideas, suggestions, and, (constructive) criticism.

I do hope the riverbanks held and you are OK. It seems to be a big year for flooding and strange weather the world over. Yesterday in Dallas TX they had 6 inches of rain in two hours in the morning followed by a toranado in the afternoon. Good day to stay in bed I would say.

As to equipment, I have a ton of surplus equipment but am too far away.

Keep dry!

Well at the moment we seem to be ok, no mud-pack cooling just yet, but we are still watching the river and the catchment levels, so it aint over yet,

more rain is on its way, it still does not know what it is going to do         :furious:
